More information on the Ventel 212+. This information comes courtesy of Ventel. o The lack of ability to generate the * or # is not firmware related. It is due to the binary coded touch tone chip which is used in the modem. o To use the Ventel for manual calls, either an exclusion key handset or a voice/data switch will work. o The second generation 212+ (to be called the Plus II) will start shipping
