The DR780-AA is a general purpose, high speed (6.7 Mb/sec) interface that connects directly to the VAX SBI (like a massbuss adapter). It is usually used for building custom high speed links or for interfacing strange peripherals. We have a DR780-AA almost new, under DEC maintenance, that we wish to sell. The network types later decided to go with a unibus interface instead.
