[news.config] removal of comp.hypercube

ian@lassen.wpd.sgi.com (Ian Clements) (10/16/89)

Recently, comments have been made indicating that the newsgroup comp.hypercube
had been replaced with comp.parallel.

Several of us, myself included, seem to have missed the discussion leading to
the decision to rename the group (if any).

My question then is this, do I remove the group (comp.hypercube), keep it, or
should we vote?

	Cheers,

	Ian

I ended up putting the line

		comp.hypercube	comp.parallel

	in the "/usr/lib/news/aliases" file.

It works for me,

The group was changed to comp.parallel many, many months back. I
believe it was over a year ago, in fact. It definitely was not
something recent.

You should make the conversion.
