dasys1 is down. It appears that a disk drive has failed. Unfortunately, none of the Co-Administrators has physical access to the hardware, so we have no idea when it will be fixed -- could be tomorrow, could be next week -- you get the idea. Anyway, anyone who's trying to get news or mail to, from or through dasys1 is SOL for the moment. Sorry. Very sorry. Well, dasys1 has been down since Dec 28th due to another disk failure.
As a co-operator (not system owner), I have no idea at the present
time when it will be back up again. Any mail sent to dasys1 will
probably time out and bounce. Sorry 'bout the delay in notification.
