Effective 2/19 the available times for anonymous UUCP service from rpp386 have been changed to 0000 through 1800 CST. If you are presently connecting to rpp386 via the "uucp" login for mail traffic, please contact the postmaster [ me ] for a regular UUCP login. There are a number of sites [ I forget who exactly ] which have UUCP logins and are using "uucp" instead. I suppose I'll find out soon enough ... You will need to change the "Any" field of your chat script to "Any0000-1800", as modified by your local time zone. This change is aimed at improving local dialup useability, which seems to be concentrated in the evening hours here in Austin. -- John F.
