Common TeX is avaible for anonymous ftp from ucbvax.berkeley.edu, file ctex2.tar. This release is only relevant for those sights who have the pascal distribution of tex installed. Font metric files, pixel files, dvi processors, macros libraries and utilities are not included. Arrangements are being made to produce a complete distribution. I have been contacted by several organizations who can assist in the larger effort. By the way, a very special version of Common TeX should be available by then, so its worth the wait. Thanks to everyone who replied, its certainly fascinating. If you havent heard from me, please excuse my inability to understand mail addresses. It has been such an amazing experience producing this program that I had to share it. I do want to hear from you, and as soon as I learn how to send mail, you'll hear from me.
