I'm trying to decide which TEX to get for an IBM PC/AT. From what I understand, there is both PCTEX and MicroTEX on the market. I'd like to hear about experiences with either (such as ease of use, documentation, speed, problems, bugs, etc.). If you have used both, let me know your preference. Please send your comments to: lls@mimsy.umd.edu I have an AT with 512K. I would like to be able to use LATEX, and be able to port my tex files to other machines/printers on a network with no problems. (Should be very simple, given that TEX is portable by nature...)
