We've just recently noticed a footnote problem with nroff and the -me macros; it doesn't seem to remember indentation parameters for the second page when it has to split a footnote across two pages. It seems to be indenting the text twice the amount specified for the original temporary indent used for the first line of the footnote. It should be using the indentation paramters ( bi and fu) from the previous page shouldn't it? Anybody have a fix for this? It seems to involve text diversions to macros, but not being an nroff guru, I have found a fix as yet. (We are using version 2.15 of -me macros. The version number for 'footnote.me' is 2.4 ) Bill Vaughn Center for Visual Science Univ. of Rochester {seismo,allegra}!rochester!ur-cvsvax!bill Rochester, NY 14627 ur-cvsvax!bill@rochester.arpa
