Sigh. This question keeps coming up over and over again.
You can ftp generic TeX sources (in WEB) from score.stanford.edu, but
you will spend unnecessary time trying to bring up TeX on your
favourite system. Instead, you should get in touch with one of the
distributors of OS specific versions. See a recent issue of TUGBOAT
for addresses. Besides the program, you need the fonts and device
drivers. The Unix TeX tape is 35Mb in size. You can also ask somebody
who has a distribution to make you a copy.
A mailing list for TeX exists. Mail texhax-request@score.stanford.edu
to join.

The title says it all. I have ctex and the only drivers I have are for the QMS-800 and the QMS-1200 printers. Unfortunately (if one want to look at it that way) I have a DEC ln03. Acutally, we are quite happy with the printer. Mostly we run xroff on it but of late there have been many postings coming across the net (not to mention the docs and mans for GNU emacs) that are written in TeX. Alternatively, a TeX->troff filter would be excellent. Any help would be appreciated. -- Chris Grevstad {sdcsvax, hplabs}!sdcrdcf!psivax!nrcvax!chris ucbvax!calma!nrcvax!chris ihnp4!nrcvax!chris Too many notes. There are just simply too many notes.
