We are currently running 4.1bsd on a VAX and are planning to upgrade to 4.3bsd
directly. We are using Uniplex V3.02 (old!) from the Santa Cruz Operation,
and we have the tape for the next version called Lyrix V3.12 (which we could
not use since we never moved to 4.2bsd).
My question: has anybody used either Uniplex 3.02 or Lyrix 3.12 under 4.3bsd?
When I asked SCO, they told me that they no longer support Uniplex/Lyrix
under any 4.xbsd, and they had no idea if either version would run.
Presumably Lyrix 3.12 which was for 4.2bsd *should* run under 4.3 but SCO could
not tell me.
Note that I am aware of Unipress' version of Uniplex, and this is an
alternative. But since we do not use much this text processing software, I am
trying to avoid having to purchase a new package.
