Several weeks ago I requested the patches to troff that allowed
it to include bit maps (rasters). Well, I am disappointed because
the ONLY response I got was from someone asking me for a copy of
what I reseived/learned. As a result, I am going to ask all
of you nice.helpful.folks :^) again.
It is my understanding that a while back (6-12 months ago) these
patches were posted to the net. Well, I want them, BADLY. A
lot of people, including myself, are writing papers with itroff
that include graphs/pictures. These graphs are in bitmap form.
Currently we are using the old fashion 'cut-and-paste' method
to get these graphs in the document (uuugly).
Are options are to go out and but something like EROFF or
DEVPS. These cost $$$$$$$. If we can get something to work
without paying a lot of dollars that would be great.
Thanks in advance for all of the nice.helpful comments/suggestions
that I know everyone will be sending me.
