I am going to write otroff and ditroff post-processors for the QMS line
of laser printers and I am looking for some free fonts I can use. I
was thinking about using the vfonts but I believe the resolutions are
different on the Varian and the QMS (the QMS is 300 dpi). I would like
to obtain the Hershey fonts but I have been unsuccessful in my search
for them. Lastly, I considered using TeX fonts but the character
positions are wrong, some of the characters are missing and I'm not
enough of an expert in METAFONT to go moving character positions
around. If anyone has any suggestions on fonts I can use it would be
greatly appreciated.
