[comp.text] Modifications to `tbl' to use 'l xx yy'

A month or two back someone (from Imagen, I believe) posted
modifications to `tbl' which cause it to use the \D'l xx yy' line
drawing commands instead of generating underscores and vertical bar
characters.

I didn't save this article and it is not in our archives. Could
someone please mail it to me?

We are using the Adobe TranScript software to generate PostScript
output and find that the vertical bar characters don't quite reach the
underscores so the box around the table has small gaps at the top of
the vertical lines and a small overflow at the bottom. I want to try
to use the \D'l xx yy' line drawing commands to see if I can cure
that.
