Can anyone tell me how to print rotated text using troff, probably using the pic preprocessor, so that, for example, a diagonal line is labelled diagonally on a figure which contains normal (portrait) text? I guess it's possible to hack a PostScript command into the troff input, but I'd like to avoid that, if possible (although those suggestions gratefully received, too). I've a macro for devps that'll produce the proper PostScript for text rotation and placement. Pat Wood Pipeline Associates, Inc. bellcore!phw5!phw (better than sending mail to unirot)
