[comp.text] Q-office

mjr@osiris.UUCP (Marcus Ranum) (07/10/87)

Thanks to the earlier poster who mentioned that Q-Office will
occasionally "break" and "fix itself". In my earlier posting on this
subject I refrained from saying anything about it, since computers are
not supposed to do this. I didn't want to sound like I was having
software hallucination. It is a fact, however, that Q-Office is amazing
as far as suddenly dying for no reason, then fixing itself.
Our version had a great feature where it would suddenly drop
control of your tty, and then just sit and chew up CPU in the background
for no apparent reason. We could never duplicate this.

Again - to repeat: Q-Office sux totally on the wax tadpole.

If they think you're crude, go technical; if they think you're technical,
go crude. I'm a very technical boy. So I get as crude as possible. These
days, though, you have to be pretty technical before you can even aspire
to crudeness... -Johnny Mnemonic
