am just bringing up an ultrix 2.0 system, discovered that ms and me are supplied as nroff macro packages... but no mm. of course the documents i'm working with are all mm'd, so i brought over the mm macro definitions from my xenix 2.2 system. they ALMOST work, but tables of contents and tables with boxes are all loused up- seems like the "term" structure used with ultrix has two fewer members (iton and itoff are missing), and mm must be using absolute offsets inside the structure. the term entries are dynamically linked, which means that i can't add the missing members (if i do all my text ends up rotated by two characters- looks like elvish...) i had a look at the mm macro definitions but it would take me weeks to figure out the horrible convoluted recursive dynamic macro language. has anyone out there solved this? if so, could you email me your ultrix-nroff-compatable macro library?? thanks in advance. -- Don Kossman, SEI Information Technology, Los Angeles usenet: {ccicpg!imt3b2 | peregrine!imt3b2 | sun!tsunama!tsunami}!seila!don
