I'd like to compile a list of the bibliographic software that's out there. I know about refer and bib for use with *roff; I've heard of BibTeX (but would appreciate pointers to further information). I'd be very grateful if people could mail me details of the other packages they use: I'm interested in knowing name of package operating systems/machines it runs under/on availability (i.e., public domain? commercially available? etc) who distributes it and for how much a short description of functionality a description of the data format used I'm primarily interested in what's available to run on minis, but micro-based software is also of interest. If there's sufficient interest, I'll summarise and post the results. Thanks R -- Robert Dale University of Edinburgh, Centre for Cognitive Science, 2 Buccleuch Place, Edinburgh, EH8 9LW, Scotland.
