[comp.text] LaTex problem

I'm trying to use \pagestyle{myheadings} to customize the heading on a
2 page report. Although the correct heading appears on page 2 of the
report (I'm using \documentstyle{report}), absolutely no header
appears on page 1. What could the problem be?
