I'm about to start trying to bring ditroff (vintage 1982) up on our Suns. Actually, the README file calls the package "Typesetter Independent TROFF," but I've always referred to it as "Device Independent." In any case, the whole package (save ideal) has been running fine on our 4.nBSD VAXes for years, but I'm sure there are a number of null pointer bugs lurking in the code which will bite me on a Sun. Has anyone flushed these problems from the code? -- Steve Grandi, National Optical Astronomy Observatories, Tucson AZ, 602-325-9228 UUCP: {arizona,decvax,hao,ihnp4}!noao!grandi or uunet!noao.arizona.edu!grandi Internet: grandi@noao.arizona.edu SPAN/HEPNET: 5356::GRANDI or DRACO::GRANDI

The official abbreviation seems to be "ditroff". They couldn't very well
call it "TIT-roff" :-) ....
