[comp.text] postscript in TeX

Some time ago we received LaTex for Unix.  On the  tape  was  a  program
called  ``psfig''  by Trevor J. Darrell to include postscript figures in
LaTeX.  The author stated that it  only  works  with  ``dvips''  from  a
company  (?)  TextSet  or ArborText and asks for people to convert it to
``dvi2ps''.

Now my questions are:
    - Does anyone have an updated version of this package for dvi2ps and
      if so is he/she prepared to send this to me?
    - Does anyone know where to get dvips in Europe?
