I vote yes, too.

This is not a 'no' vote, but TeXhax is a very frequent and large posting with a very limited interest group. Most recipients I know archive them, anyway, so I'm not sure of the advantage of having them in a news group. Guys, I should have pointed out there is an official way to poke the net gods. Posting yea and nay votes on this newsgroup doesn't count. What needs to be done is for somebody to offer to take a vote on creating a new group and forward the result to the net gods. In this case you also have to persuade a gateway to forward the postings bidirectionally and to persuade Malcolm Brown (the moderator) to accept postings from Usenet. I assume it will be a moderated group. The protocol is explained in news.announce.newusers or something like that. No, I'm not volunteering. Ken

I think that it should be comp.text.texhax, since it is easy to imagine wanting to have another TeX-dedicated group, which would want to be called comp.text.tex Jeremy Brest Swarthmore College uucp: ...seismo!bpa!swatsun!jeremy CSnet: jeremy@swatsun.swarthmore.edu Internet: jeremy%swatsun.swarthmore.edu@relay.cs.net
