Beta Testers Needed: We have constructed a ditroff to HP LaserJet Series II filter. This filter will convert DWB 2.0 ditroff for printing on an HP LaserJet Series II. Existing filters from other vendors are both over priced and do not guarantee that the output will actually be printable on the (rather stupid) LaserJet Series II. We believe our product meets these requirements. We are looking to begin Beta Test around June 1, and need several sites to serve as Beta Testers. Sites interested in becoming Beta Testers should meet the following requirements: - 32 bit CPU, floating point hardware - Already have DWB 2.0 - Already have HP LaserJet Series II - Use "troff", "pic", "grap" heavily Those selected as Beta Testers will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement, and will receive, free, a license to use the product on a single CPU. The commercial product is targetted to cost "under $100". During the initial selection process, only Electronic Mail addressed to "uunet!pcrat!rick" will be accepted.
