[comp.text] ipa fonts in tex

edwards@dogie.edu ( Mark Edwards) (05/09/88)

Does anyone use the ipa font with TeX?

If so what are the macros to incorporate the accents for
normal usage? I do realize I can build my own macros with
\accent, but I have this thing about reinventing the wheel
all the time.

thanks
mark

An IPA font for TeX is available from Washington State. Contact
Brian Harvey,
Computing Service Center,
Washington State Univ.,
Pullman,
Washington 99164-1220.
Phone: (509) 335 0411.

It costs $100. I don't know how it is implemented at the keyboard level.

NB. Georgia Tobin also has an IPA font done in old MF79. Contact her at
1888 Barnard Drive,
Powell,
Ohio, 43065.
Phone: (614) 764-6087.
