G'day, I am working for Microtel Pacific Research. We have just finished installing the TeX text formatter and are looking for a graphics package to use with it. Our network consists mostly of PC workstations running MS-DOS, connected to various Ultrix (UNIX) microVAX II's. Does any body out there know of any good graphics packages that can be used with TeX? Harvard Graphics is one of the packages I am considering, but I don't want to overlook anything. The package must be able to output PostScript files. The main features we are looking for are business graphics (pie charts, bar charts, etc.) and freeform diagrams such as data flow diagrams and similar symbols + connectives type diagrams (eg. network layouts). A large icon "clip art" library as well as the ability to create new icons is desired. Any extras would be considered gravy (I like gravy). Any help you could render here would be greatly appreciated (i.e. Thanks!) Mike Dennison -- Mike Dennison Microtel Pacific Research ...uunet!ubc-cs!mprg!dennison
