I am writing a proposal using "report" style and am unable to reconcile \chapter and \bibliography. The problem is the following: I want to have my BiBTeX bibliography as a chapter, with a line in the table of contents. The obvious choice of: \chapter{Bibliography} \bibliography{/usr/.../bib} doesn't work correctly. It generates a Chapter number, then a heading "Bibliography", then skips to the next page, then another heading of "Bibliography" and then starts listing references. Is there someway to have just one "Bibliography" heading and keep the references on the same page as the Chapter number?
