Is there a very inexpensive printer which is a very good choice for technical mathematics with nroff/(di)troff? I include in this the existance of the approriate driving software. For nroff that would mean a printer that either had a rich built in character set, or downloadable characters. It would need an appropriate terminal description table and possibly a program to download the character set. For ditroff it would mean an appropriate filter, which either rasterizes the whole image or takes advantage of fine positioning commands in the printer. -- Ken Mandelberg | {decvax, sun!sunatl, gatech}!emory!km UUCP Emory University | km@emory BITNET Dept of Math and CS | km@emory.ARPA ARPA,CSNET Atlanta, GA 30322 | Phone: (404) 727-7963
