[comp.text] Looking for TeX on Symbolics Lisp Machine

tynor@pyr.gatech.EDU (Steve Tynor) (05/27/88)

Can anyone tell me where I can get a TeX distribution for Symbolics Lisp
Machines? I understand that such a thing exists, and would like to have a
copy. We do not have a Pascal compiler on our machines, so I suppose a
binary distribution will be necessary.

No problem is so formidable that you can't just walk away from it.

The Symbolics Lisp Users Group (SLUG) distributes TeX. Mac Michaels
<mac@mcc.com> is the SLUG librarian. Ask him to send you a form for a
membership application. There's a $10 membership fee and each tape costs
$35.

TeX under Genera 7.2 does not require a Pascal compiler.

Hope this helps,
