I posted an package called "SpGraph" a few months ago which
supports drawing of lines in any slope, circles of any slope,
ellipsis, arc .. etc.
Now I have completely rewritten the package and combined it with
epic (an excellent enhancement to LaTeX picture environment
written by Sunil Podar). I renamed it to EEPIC, current version
is 0.99. It supports:
o solid, dash and dotted lines in any slope
o circles of any diameter
o ellipsis
o arcs
o splines
o different line thickness
o all functions in epic (e.g. grid, special environments
suitable for drawing graphs, matrixput (2-D version of
multiput, ... etc)
The standard EEPIC macros produces tpic specials. However, a
emulation package is included to emulate all the eepic function
except arc using epic so that the standard DVI file (no specials)
can be produced if desired.
Its major advantages over PiCTeX are that
o it is much faster
o it requires much less memory
o its command syntax is similar to LaTeX picture
environment and hence it is easier to learn if you
already know how to use LaTeX picture environment.
I am planning to submit it to latex-style of cs.rochester.edu.

to me. The total size of the package in shar format is about 65K.
