I would like to recompile TeX to have a larger memory. I understand this can be done by first converting it to C with WEB2C, then increasing the memory size. Two questions: 1) Where do I get just web2c? I can ftp. 2) Is it really that easy? Does it convert easily and do I just twiddle some #define to increase the memory size, or is there a lot of hacking available?
