Sorry, but I really doubt that there is going to be a rush of paranoid people to the bank in December 1999 (if the planet still exists then.) (Defeatist? No ...) with millions of people trying to withdraw billions of dollars due to computer glitch fears. It would only happen if some (any big mouth) hack started a big inform-the-public plan. The public at large would be slow to consider such a thing feasible; like somone said, most people don't thing like hackers ... even most computer operators don't thing like hackers.
