I am looking for a filter program to run on a Sun Unix machine to convert Masscomp GPS primitives to PostScript. This could be either a commercial product or public domain. Please mail me directly if you know of one. Many thanks, David Evans. __________________________________________________________________________ David R Evans, JANET: dre@cs.nott.ac.uk Electronic Publishing Research Group, ARPA: dre%nott.cs@cs.ucl.ac.uk Department of Computer Science, UUCP: ... !mcvax!ukc!nott-cs!dre University of Nottingham, Tel. +44 602 484848 NOTTINGHAM, ENGLAND, NG7 2RD. I would also be very interested in such a filter..especially if it could work with GRASS so I could print binary map layers. -larry -- [HEPnet : IND::BLACK::TENNY | Larry Tenny ] [ARPA : tenny@iuvax.cs.indiana.edu | 315 N. Masscomp has a GPS -> Postscript filter. I think it is called gpsps or gpstps. It is part of the support that you get with their Postscript laser printer (a QMS). I don't know if they sell it without the printer, but you should ask them. Another option is a GPS to tektronix filter that Creare sells (for about $400 I think), and a public domain tektronix to Postscript filter that was posted on the net a few months ago. I've done this and it works.
