[comp.text] Printing PostScript characters from ditroff

afzal@cui.UUCP (BALLIM Afzal) (10/31/88)

Hi,
I'm new to comp.text, so pardon me if you've explained this upteen
times before.

My problem is this: for the last while I have been printing
characters such as the FORALL symbol, etc., by defining them in troff as
combinations of other characters with appropriate movements, etc. That is
precisely the problem. Such definitions tend to be very susceptible to
point size and font type. I understand that many PostScript fonts already
have the sort of characters I need defined in them.

I would greatly appreciate it if anyone can tell me how get ditroff to print
such characters.
If you send your answers directly to me at: afzal@cui.unige.ch then I will
post the responses.

Thanks,
	Afzal
