[comp.text] What is mm?

I have a document I need to troff, which wants to use something
called the "mm" macro package.  What is this?  How does one obtain it?
The macro packages I have don't quite give satisfactory results. 
Please excuse my ignorance, but I'm not usually a  troff user.
