Has anyone out there successfully compiled gnutex on an IBM-PC?

Yes. I have. Works fine. Requires a bit of fixing.

It has been done, though it apparently took some work. I had never
tried it. The necessary changes were sent to me, and I will be
incorporating them (and others) and will release a patch when it seems
appropriate. If you want the necessary PC information soon, please
send me mail.
