As a DIN A4 piece of paper is not quite 11 inches (but 2681/240 inch) I started looking for ways and means to give our users a simple but correct default. It is of course possible to put a line in the macros, but this would mean macro updates every time a new A4 printer is defined and a very strange manual page. A possible alternative would be to get the .bp call (eject page) to generate a formfeed instead of a number of newlines. This would enable me to forget about pages that are shorter than A4 (for instance the default nroff page). In the code (yes we are a registered dwb-source site) there is no easily changable option.
