Does anyone out there in netland know of any grammar checkers for UNIX? Writer's Workbench (WWB) looks the same as it did years ago. It . finds double words, such as this this [sic]. . flags verbose and very wordy [sic] phrases. . gives a readibility score. . gives statistics on the use of words. On DOS there is Grammatik III. In addition to the things WWB does, Grammatik III: . looks for a sentences [sic] missing apostrophes. . flags certain homonyms, such as there, their and they're. . check [sic] for subject verb agreement. . checks for an [sic] misused article. . looks for cAPITALIZATION [sic] mistakes. . provides access to an editor as it finds errors.
