[comp.text] How to avoid troff's cut marks?

prc@maxim.ERBE.SE (Robert Claeson) (03/23/89)

Netlanders,

I recently installed a PostScript printer and Adobe's TranScript 2.1
on our system. Now, I'm using psroff and the mm macro package to format
documents and send them to the printer. But...

I get 'cut marks' on the first line of each page and the complete page
is moved about 5 lines down (using Times Roman, 10 points) with the
result that the page footer almost comes below the page! I have commented
out the part of mm that prints the cut marks, but I still get the space
at the top of the page. Is there anyone who knows how I can avoid that?
