Has anyone hacked the Pagemaker file format? I need to move several
existing documents (>4000) to a new page layout program (mine!) and
want to extract the text and graphics from the PM files. Yes, I now that
you can export the text, but I want the page layout!
I have contacted Aldus. They claim to have given several "big" software
houses the format and they returned the document saying it was to
complex. After pleading and begging, the rep. said it would not be
given out. Probably to lock users into Pagemaker now that other
programs exist (and are better).
