I have an NEC P6 printer at home that I would like to use with LaTeX, and I have a couple of questions on what the best way to generate the fonts for it would be. First, the NEC P6 has a 360x360 dpi maximum graphics resolution. However, its dot size is 0.2 mm, which implies that 180x180 dpi would give complete coverage. Is there any point in using the full 360x360 graphics? Second does anyone have a metafont mode_def for the P6/P7 or Epson LQ series (with which the P6 is compatible)? Would the epson mode_def (modifying pixels_per_inch and aspect_ratio) work? Thanks, Bob Mitchell. -------------------------------------+-------------------------------------- God loved you enough to die for you. | uucp: ...!uw-beaver!uw-june!kid Will you live for him? | arpanet: kid@cs.washington.edu -------------------------------------+--------------------------------------
