One of our net neighbors recently gave us an old xerox 2700 that they
had outgrown. We arranged to have it refurbished and now we want to put
it to work grinding out documents.
We've hacked out some nroff tables and an lp driver that seem to work
moderately well, but nroff can't utilize the inherent capabilities of
the machine to full advantage. Ergo, we're wondering if getting the
2700 to work with troff would feasible.
If there are any archeologists :-) out there who remember working with
the 2700... perhaps in conjunction with troff, how about giving us some
pointers?
