I am using Metafont to generate fonts for a NEC P6 (an Epson LQ1500 compatible) in 360-dpi graphic mode. Unfortunately, at that resolution blacker needs to be about -.5, which causes many "bad penpos" and a few "Strange path (turning number is zero)" errors in some of the CM fonts (especially the 'tt' fonts). Despite the errors, the generated fonts look ok. Is this something I should worry about, or can I safely ignore it? Thanks, Bob Mitchell. -------------------------------------+-------------------------------------- The praise of my Lord will be | uucp: ...!uw-beaver!uw-june!kid continually on my lips. | arpanet: kid@cs.washington.edu -------------------------------------+--------------------------------------
