If the authors of RUMDJET, Wolfgang Kaseap, H.-W. Kisker, are able to read this, would they kidly reply to this posting? I have tried to get E-mail to you but it keeps bouncing (those internet paths are tricky!!). I have been trying to get a DVI driver for the DeskJet ported over for the Atari-ST, and I would like to get a copy of you source code if you are willing to let me attempt the port. I have tried working with the Utah driver family, but the port form the UNIX environment to the Atari hasn't been too easy. It sounds like the RUMDJET does everything that the New Utah drivers will do, but since it was written originally for a PC, the port to Atari should be much simpler! If anyone on the net has access to the code, I would really appreciate it. Thanks for reading this 'open letter' all of you netlanders, I hope this will get to the authors!! ========================================================================= | Jeff Long jlong@blackbird.afit.af.mil (ARPA net) | | | | humble (and getting humbler by the day) graduate student; | | The Air Force Institute of Technology (what a great way of life??) | =========================================================================
