Greetings, I hope someone out there will have the patience to help me explain the world of TeX to myself. I have SBTEX from SIMTEL for my PC, and I guess I'm ready to go. 1) What is the TeX bible? 2) I write in MultiMate, and will want to format math papers for my IBM graphics printer, CGA preview (which SBTEX has?) and for distribution on the net and through my mailing list. Pretty basic, huh? 3) I assume that I only need to worry about drivers for my local devices, and that the recipients will be so responsible for getting output on their local machines. At least I hope so. . .
