I'm am trying to print out a large document using this command:
tbl rules.me | nroff -me
I get this error message:
Bad storage allocation.
Half of the document gets printed. This is happening on a Sun workstation
using SunOS 3.2. The same thing happens when I try to send the document
to a laser writer using "tbl rules.me | ptroff -me -Plw". Does anybody
know what the problem is and how to fix or work around it? Thanks for any
help.
Sometimes I think the problem is in tbl, since that is the only program which
is called for both printing to the screen and printing to a laser writer;
other times I think it is nroff, since "tbl rules.me" works and "nroff
-me rules.me" fails.
