Greetings collected eroff minds, I'm using Elan's troff, eroff, on a Sun3/60 to print documentation. Unfortunately I'm having trouble printing full-page "pic" diagrams on an HP-2000. Using portrait mode, half-page or smaller diagrams within text files are not a problem, but full-page diagrams abort after printing only the left-hand side of the page (see below). _____________ | xxxxx | | ----- | | | | "xxxxx" denotes the left half of the | ----- | header and footer. The rest denotes | | | the incomplete pic diagram. | ----- | | | | | ----- | | xxxxx | ------------- The problem does not seem to be a printer memory problem. The soft fonts we have loaded are at the minimum 270K. Thanks for any help or suggestions, Colleen

[ details deleted ] Tried to email this, but it bounced. Just a guess, but what's the size of the lp spool file on the pic|eroff output? I guess Suns don't have the ulimit problem that we Sys5'ers have, but could it be some spooling-related problem? Would it be worth a try to pic | eroff -X > /dev John -- John Kennedy johnk@opel.UUCP Second Source, Inc. Annapolis, MD
