First of all, thanks to those who post useful hints and answers. The method of getting leaders into tables (I lost the author's name, drat!) was most illuminating, for example. Question 1: Doing two columns with .2C in mm, I can put full-width displays (two cols wide) at TOP of a page with the float macros, but getting them to BOTTOM eludes me. (I much prefer floating them, as the text gets edited many times.) Am I failing to run the DF macro right? And what is the secret for doing one-col displays in col 1 (floated to bottom)? Question 2: We use tplus, which works fine on both a HPLJ+ and the LJII. A IID was installed recently, and on it each 2col page (haven't tried other text) has "--" at upper left and right. Anyone met this, banished it? -tracy [ uucp: rutgers!lafcol!logant | BITNET: LOGANT@LAFAYETT ]
