[comp.text] SGML Parsers

thomas@gmdzi.UUCP (Thomas Gordon) (08/30/89)

Can anyone point me to a SGML parser for Unix? I know of two:

1) Markit, from a Belgian company called Sobemap. Looks good but
they want $30,000 (that thirty thousand dollars) for the first copy!
Ouch.

2) Daphne, from the West German DFN (German Research Network). It is
free and portable, but very slow and a memory hog.

Thanks,

Tom Gordon
