Aha! But there is a printer port for the H19. A small company in Adelphi, MD made them for DARCOM (US Army). It involves pulling out the processor on the H19 card plugging their card into the CPU socket and then putting the processor in their card. The cost was about $300, I don't know if they are interested in doing any more. -Ron

I am looking for the simplest cheapest way to connect a printer to a terminal (an H19) that does not have a printer port. I don't need to control the resulting "printer port" from the keyboard. It would be quite sufficient to connect the printer in parallel with the terminal and put the printer on line when I want a hardcopy of what is being sent to the terminal. The only complication is that the printer generates <CTRL>S <CTRL>Q "signals" which must be properly sent to the computer. I would greatly appreciate advice on solving this problem.
