I am relatively new to doing tables in TeX or LaTeX. I have used tbl extensively and have gotten used to creating tables with much less hassle (or so I think) than what seems to be necessary in LaTeX's tabular environment. I also need to be able to create rather complicated tables at times, for these I will give up ease for features. I have not been able to find any other table making environments at such places as washington or clarkson. Am I missing them or is everyone content with what LaTeX provides or have people cooked up there own and I just can't find them? If someone could point me in the right direction or at least tell me I'm barking up the wrong tree, please do so. Something with more capabilities than tbl would be ideal, and certainly something that doesn't require recompiling the typesetter because of too many text blocks (I have blown up tbl numerous times). Very important would be support for good multi-page tables (i.e. reports). Thanking all in advance, Lonnie -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Email to: lonhyn@prandtl.nas.nasa.gov USnail To: /dev/null Disclaimer: All views and opinions expressed here belong entirely to the organization mentioned above.
