I have written an object oriented picture editor in Smalltalk 80, that generates output for \LaTeX's picture environment. Therefore it is limited in its graphic capabilities, but it should be easy to enhance. It supports text, lines, arcs, ovals, circles, discs and bitmaps, but no polygons, polygon filling etc. It does also support the limitations that \LaTeX imposes on lines, arcs, circles and discs. I would like to post it to comp.lang.smalltalk if there is enough interest. The size is about 60k. Hubert (Hubert Baumeister baumeist@exunido.uucp)

That would be very usefull to us. An object oriented picture editor is really missing in Smalltalk, and Latex has a realy poor user interface with repect to figures/pictures. Go ahead and post it!
